Research Interest:
We use computational methods, such as kinetic Monte Carlo simulations, to address problems of biomedical relevance. Monte Carlo based in silico approaches can be a powerful tool for carrying out single cell (or single molecule) biology and for elucidating
Teaching Interest:
Stochastic simulations in systems biology and biophysics, Mathematical biology, Monte Carlo simulations. Courses are focused on teaching some of the essential quantitative (analytical and numerical) techniques that can be used to solve biological problems
