Ecology, Evolution, and Environment

The goal of this course is to familiarize the students with basic concepts in Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Science, develop in them an understanding of the current environmental issues and the need for biodiversity conservation.

1. Describe human induced factors that are responsible for environmental degradation and loss of biodiversity
2. Justify importance of biodiversity conservation
3. Generate hypotheses about how different ecosystem services may be impacted due to climate change
