Non-orthogonal multiple Access (NOMA) is a promising communication paradigm designed to enhance massive connectivity while optimizing spectral efficiency. It plays a crucial role in Aerospace Integrated Networks (AINs), which comprise multi-tier architectures, including high-altitude platforms (HAPs), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites. These networks face significant challenges such as mobility management, high communication latency, low received signal strength, frequent handovers, and the need for efficient coordination among non-terrestrial base stations (NT-BSs).
This workshop aims to enhance the understanding of a NOMA-based framework to address these challenges by integrating sparse code multiple access (SCMA)-aided communication.
