Introduction: In design, illustration can be an efficient way to provide the user with a piece of information faster and easier than it could happen with the text. However, illustration is also a powerful and important tool that can be used to get insights into users and can enhance user experience, making an interface attractive, efficient and effective. Character development through illustrations can effectively portray the archetype of a potential user of design problem like websites or apps and can play a significant role in developing the persona of the user. A user persona is an archetype or character that represents a potential user of any design problem eg. website or app. In user centered-design, personas help the design team to target their designs around users.
