IIIT Delhi invites applications from highly motivated research oriented students for admission to Full time Ph.D. Programme for 03 seats under the "Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT for session 2024-25" in the following research areas with main focus on

1. C2S- Chips to Startup
2. ESDM- Electronics System Design & Manufacturing
3. IT& ITES- IT/IT Enabled Services

The minimum educational qualifications for admission to the PhD programme of the Institute are as follows:

● Candidates with a Master's degree in Engineering/Technology (CSE/ECE) or a Master's degree by Research in Engineering/Technology (CSE/ECE) with a good academic record and specialization areas relevant to the research areas as mentioned in this advertisement.

● Candidates who have qualified for the award of four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (CSE/ECE) with a good academic record and valid GATE score in an eligible discipline will be considered for direct admission to PhD.

Financial Support for Full-time PhD candidates under Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme:

● Fellowship: Rs. 38,750 per month in 1 st and 2 nd year and @Rs. 43,750 per month in 3rd , 4th and 5th years of PhD. (support till PhD completion or 5 years whichever is earlier).
● Research Contingency Grant Support: An amount of Rs. 1,20,000/Year/Full-time PhD candidate for support duration of PhD candidate.Reimbursement of Rent (as per GoI norms)
