Profile
Dr. Anuj Kumar received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) in 2021 and was awarded the Excellence in Doctoral Research Award for his thesis. He then joined the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, as an Institute of Eminence Postdoctoral Fellow for one year. Subsequently, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (2022-25). He is a lifetime member of the Indian Physics Association and served as Joint Secretary of the Indian Physics Association, Roorkee Chapter, during his Ph.D. tenure. In recognition of his mentorship, he received the NUS High Inspiring Mentor Award (2024). He has published several high-impact papers in leading international journals and conferences.
His research lies at the intersection of spintronics, electronics, and neuromorphic engineering, combining device physics and nanofabrication to develop next-generation memory and computing architectures. He collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams spanning magnetism, materials science, and AI hardware.
